A door, not a handoff
If you run an established, multi-site nonprofit with its own youth sports or community athletic programming, such as a national nonprofit with local chapters or a community youth organization of similar scale, this isn’t a request to hand over your sponsorship program. It’s an offer to be the connective tissue between your community programming and Zubie Five’s network of local brands and youth organizations, a low-stakes first conversation that can lead somewhere larger if it makes sense.
Three starting points
- Joint programming introductions. We pair your organization with a youth league or a local brand in our network for a joint event or clinic.
- Cross-referrals. Your families hear about league options, and league families hear about your programs. This means sharing information about what exists, not sharing family contact details.
- Sponsorship support for your athletic programming. If you want help finding sponsors specifically for your own athletic programs, we can do that as well.
An easy first conversation
- Stay open to everyone. Nothing here stops you from working with anyone else.
- Just a conversation. Introductions and cross-referrals are part of getting to know each other.
- Each opportunity on its own. You consider each specific idea separately and say yes or no to it.
- If you want sponsorship help. If you later want help finding sponsors for your athletic programming, that work is covered by the flat 20% commission that applies to nonprofits selling sponsorships for their own programs, published on How We’re Paid.
