For league board members

Are You a Youth League Board Member? Here's How Zubie Five Can Fund Your Program.

Whether you're a youth sports league board member, a little league board member, or you've just been handed the sponsorship question at your last meeting, you don't have to become a sales team to answer it.

Your board

You Didn't Sign Up to Run a Sales Team

Most league boards are parents. You're volunteering around a full-time job and a family, juggling fields, umpires, registrations, and uniforms, and you probably inherited the sponsor list from someone who has since moved on.

That last part is the quiet problem. When a board member leaves, what they knew about who sponsors the league, who said yes last year, and who to call in March usually leaves with them. Sponsorship matters, but it's hard to do well when the person doing it changes every couple of years.

Zubie Five takes the sponsor work on and keeps the relationship going, so it doesn't depend on any one volunteer.

What this means

What This Means For Your League

  • No upfront cost. Getting started doesn't draw on your league's budget. How we're paid is open for anyone to read on How We're Paid.
  • Standing, renewable revenue that survives board turnover. Zubie Five manages the relationship, not a volunteer, so a new president or treasurer inherits a working sponsor program instead of a missing spreadsheet.
  • Funds for equipment, fields, uniforms, or offsetting registration fees. When a league lands real sponsorship, it can hold fees down and buy what it was asking families to cover.
  • No sponsorship expertise required from the board. We value your assets, build the packages, and make the calls. You decide what's right for your league.

How it works

How It Works

  1. 1

    We Value Your Assets

We analyze your organization's audience, location, and assets to calculate their true fair market value, using the same methodology as pro sports agencies.

  2. 2

    We Find Your Sponsors

We identify, pitch, and negotiate with local businesses and national brands on your behalf. You focus on your program, and we focus on finding the money.

  3. 3

    Your Program Gets Funded

Sponsor dollars reach your organization and go straight back into your season, with nothing at risk for your program.

Questions

Common Questions

Does this cost our league anything?

Getting started costs nothing, and we're only paid when sponsor money reaches your league. Everything is in writing before we make a single call, and the full details are open for anyone to read on How We're Paid.

What happens if our board changes?

Nothing has to restart. The representation agreement has no fixed term, and Zubie Five manages the sponsor relationships, so a new board picks up an existing program with one contact who already knows it. If anyone ever wants to step away, either side can do so with 30 days' written notice, and you keep everything already closed.

How is this different from the fundraisers we already run (popcorn sales, round-up donation asks)?

Those fundraisers ask families for money a few dollars at a time, and the board has to organize them. Sponsorship asks local businesses, who are paying for visibility in front of your families. It's a different pool of money, it doesn't compete with what you already run, and it doesn't put the work on parents. Our sponsorship vs. fundraising comparison has the side-by-side.
